Kool Stop Scott Mathauser cantilever brake pads | Salmon | 4 pcs.
Delivery in 1-2 business days – In stock and dispatched quickly.
Kool Stop Scott Mathauser is a classic brake pad for cantilever brakes, based on the original design developed by Scott Mathauser. It is not a specific brake model, but a type of brake pad that has become popular among owners of classic MTB, touring, and retro bikes.
Scott Mathauser pads are known for their effective braking performance and good control, especially on older cantilever systems, where they provide a significant improvement over many original brake pads.
The distinctive Salmon (salmon-colored) rubber compound from Kool Stop was developed with a focus on high friction and good braking power—especially in wet conditions. It is therefore a popular choice for touring, year-round bikes, and classic bicycle projects.
